An International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever is recommended but not compulsory. However, it is required when travelers come from countries were Yellow Fever prevails; therefore we highly recommend to all travelers to have the Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate. As requirements and regulations are subject to change at short notice, visitors are advised to contact their nearest Kenyan Embassy or their travel health advisor well in advance of their intended date of departure. Visitors from countries infected with Cholera and Yellow Fever must produce international certificates of vaccination.
Malaria protection is essential. Please consult your doctor for advice on prophylactics.
It is important not to underestimate the power of the Equatorial sun: a hat and sunglasses are strongly recommended at all times to combat the heat and bright light.
